I am an international student from Taiwan who loves to play games and watch cool/well-made animations. Currently a Senior in Drexel University majoring in Game Art and Production, I wish to become a great animator for games in the future.

 

 What other things do you do besides spend large amounts of time on Whale House?

• Listen to Hatsune Miku everyday. She is my Goddess.
• Hang out with friends
• Play video games and watch anime
• Practice my guitar once in a while

I love working with my teammates and cracking jokes with them.

My name is Miguel. I am a Game Art and Production major interested in pursuing a focus in texturing and digital sculpting, who is very family oriented and loves playing games of all type and going to the gym (feels like I'm writing a dating profile).

I love Whale House for its people and the fun that we have when not being told to focus :p

Concept Artist

I was born and raised in South Jersey. My ethnic background if mainly of Filipino-Chinese descent. Many hours of my childhood were spent watching cartoons, which inspired my passion for art and a love for storytelling. Thus, I chose Animation which ties everything back to the beginning.

 

What other things do you do besides spend large amounts of time on Whale House?

• Drawing
• Reading manga
• Listening to music
• Dancing

What do you love about Whale House?

It is a diverse team of unique and quirky individuals [many of whom have been my friends since freshmen year]. I believe we can all accomplish great things individually but something super awesome all together too.

Hi there! I was born and raised in Chicago, moving out of state to Philadelphia to pursue my interest in where art and technology meet--video games. I started off as a 3D generalist with a focus in modeling. Soon enough I began leading teams of varying sizes and fell in love with project management since. My superpower is not needing much sleep.

 

What other things do you do besides spend large amounts of time on Whale House?

• I go to the gym and lift weights. Make all the gains.
• I love to bake!
• Experience new things and learn more about people

Henderson Yan

Concept Artist

My name is Henderson. Born in Singapore, and raised in Philly. I love sketching as well as watching all kinds of animated films, both 3D and 2D. I have a passion for digital and traditional art specifically concept art because I love seeing figments of people's imagination come to life on a piece of paper or computer screen. I love all kinds of food. I wanna say I like exercising, but it's more of a justification to let me eat more.

 

What do you love about Whale House?

The people in Whale House are insanely weird and quirky... but in a good way! All have a passion in their fields whether it's programming, game design, or art. Seeing that passion in each other really motivates the whole team and pushes our minds to the limits to making the best game we can make.

Ryan Daugherty

I just kinda showed up on this planet in 1992 and the universe collectively shrugged and decided to roll with it.  My life has essentially been a 22 year long awkward moment, with occasional breaks to nap.  I'm getting a BS/MS in Computer Science while doing the Game Design Concentration while picking up some Minors, which Drexel assured me was literally impossible.  Turns out they were right.  You can see some of my other work at sharmandraproductions.com
