What Got Done
- Fixed an issue that we were having with MeshBaker that caused meshes not to be destroyed when towers died or unearthed.
- Entity health is now networked.
- Changed the way territory works. You can now see both teams' claimed territory and territory is now mutually exclusive.
- Created a pooling system to distribute the instantiation and mesh combining of units each wave over multiple frames. This greatly reduced the lag spike that used to happen at the beginning of each wave.
- Spent a bunch of time at marketing meetings.
- Added a new map editor. This was something that I had been working on on my own time since December and it was finally ready to be pulled into the game. It adds a lot of features that were missing in the old map editor and should help us a lot as we get new environment pieces.
What's Next
- The slow process of replacing the NGUI UI with a new Unity 4.6 UI.
- Implementing the new environment.
- Helping out with spectator mode (as necessary).
