With the Rush and Tank Units still not locked down, the production line is getting help up still. Right now I'm focusing more on Rush as Jon took over tank. Though it's taken a long time, I think we're finally getting close to the point where these two units' concept phase will be done soon and the rest of production will follow.
Accomplishments
- Rush Unit (7 hours)
- Tank Unit (1.5 hours)
- Playtesting (.5 hour)

With the end of our sprint coming, it's a bit disappointing that we did not get as much as done as we wanted to. I feel responsibility as the concept artist in charge of the units that are still behind. I went back to sketching on paper to get iterations out faster and more during than week. Hopefully we finish up the rush and tank unit concept art quickly so that the rest of production moves along smoothly. Kudos to Anna for hammering our models, Kai-lin for script/coding tutorial stuff, and Miguel for getting better.
When playtesting using my trackpad and keyboard, the movement of the frame is kind of jolty. The other things I noticed were the path drawing still allowed for drawing over higher leveled terrain even though units cannot move up without a ramp. Also, when towers were stacked directly in front of each other, they would end up blocking the units' paths of the towers behind them. The units would then bunch up behind the tower in their path and would not be able to proceed forward until the tower got up it seemed.
