Jinkies!

Had a lot planned for this sprint, but things didn't go as we planned. Certain task too longer as well as hurdles coming up. Everyone ran into hurdles which ended pushing everyone back a little and also pushing other people's work behind.

Finish Line

  • Made more Concept Art (6 Hrs)
  • Painting Weights (1.5 hrs) 
  • Discussed design with certain towers (2 Hrs)
  • Practiced Concept Art Presentation (1.5 Hrs)

Progress

Augher Weight Painting

Sniper Unit CA:

Battle Plan

  • To get done the concept art for this week. 
  • To start finishing the weight painting on the Augher model
  • Even help out with Environmental Design

Damage Control

  • There were some issues regarding the weight painting. The mesh wasn't all combined so it's separate meshes grouped together. We thought it might caused some problems in the future even though it's not really causing any now.
  • Messing around with the Sniper concept was a bit interesting. Finding ways to make it look strange, but still make sense was a bit difficult.
  • We still seem to not be too sure on how certain towers, units, etc should look like, but the both concept artist are doing their best to keep with the asthetic
  • We're all a bit behind because we're running into certain issues which is normal. That just results into work being pushed back a bit.
  • I couldn't get as much work done, which is bad as it is getting closer to the deadline of the alpha.

tl;dr

 It's good we're running into certain issues now. This will help make the creation of the other assets much smoother.
